Crafted by Calyn is owned and operated by myself Calyn Trunnell, a wife of an army veteran and mom of two boys located in my hometown of Spotsylvania, VA. I have loved crafting and creating since i was little and couldn’t wait to have kids of my own to do all the pinterest pinned crafts with them. When the boys began school, I found myself wanting to find a side gig that kept me busy but also have flexible hours around everyone's schedules. I started creating things for other moms, preschools and churches that could bring in a little extra income. One thing led to another and I started to expand my interests into new areas such as woodworking and laser engraving. Needless to say the side gig turned into a small business overnight, I found myself running every aspect of the business and blowing my expectations. Partnerships have been formed with local law enforcement, fundraising at schools, charities, wedding venues, realtors, participating in craft fairs and promoting businesses locally and nationwide. I am so thankful how much this business has grown over the last three years and can’t wait to see how much bigger it becomes, hopefully owning a storefront!
